Students from Guitars Over Guns’ middle school programs across Miami-Dade County will converge for the annual Guitars Over Guns Student Showcase on Tuesday, April 24. From student artwork on display, to dance and musical performances on Ball & Chain’s iconic Pineapple Stage, these young artists from Miami’s underserved communities will impress guests with their talent, exuberance, and professionalism.
“These performance opportunities help develop our students’ artistic growth,” said Dr. Chad Bernstein, Founder and CEO of Guitars Over Guns. “By giving them a public stage for their voice to be heard, these performances help our youth establish self-confidence, leadership, and the ability to connect with others in an extremely positive way.”
