On December 14th, BizHack brought international executives from NBCUniversal and Buzzfeed to discuss media advertising in the age of Google and Facebook. Over 100 attendees learned how some of the largest and fastest-growing media companies in the world were competing successfully for attention among younger and international audiences. And they shared lessons on how Miami businesses can use digital advertising to grow.
NBCUniversal is one of the world’s largest media companies, owning dozens of television networks and film studios (including NBC, Telemundo, Universal and Dreamworks) and five theme parks. Buzzfeed, named The World’s Most Innovative Company by Fast Company in 2016, is one of the world’s fastest growing media companies, with a global audience of 650 million people, half of them under age 35.
