The Wynwood Yard turns up the heat in February, the month of love and passion with feverous live musical performances by homegrown musicians with influences and styles ranging from ska and polka to reggae, jazz and son Cubano. Grab your sweetie by the hips and come to The Yard for a special Valentine’s Day Jazz at The Yard edition with Nikki Kidd, drum to your own beat at this month’s Silent Disco Dance Party and show Miami’s vibrant musical talent like Leslie Cartaya, Yoli Mayor, Keith Johns and Elastic Bond some love!

First Fridays with Keith Johns, a monthly residency with the Florida folk artist, ushers in February with a bang. Johns welcomes fellow musician, OIGO, to share the stage with rocking the Simple Vodka Stage. DJ Patrick Walsh brings infectious beats afterward, spinning from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.
A Night with Elastic Bond and Friends: Soul Edition featuring Jason Joshua and The Beholders| Thursday, February 8 |7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
The 305’s Elastic Bond, masters of mixing tropical rhythms, soul and urban beats, launched their new monthly jam session at The Yard in December. Now, they’re keeping up the energy-filled nights and spreading soulful grooves through the airwaves together with Jason Joshua and The Beholders.

Reggae Sundays | Sundays, February 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th | 2 P.M. – midnight
Groove to a jam-packed lineup at each Sunday Funday brought to you by the reggae gurus from Kulcha Shok with a series of themed events including Kulcha Kids on the first Sundays of the month, with activities just for the little ones from noon to 2 p.m. followed by regularly-scheduled Reggae Sunday live musical performances and DJ’s until midnight. All Vinyl on second Sundays co-hosted by Peppabox throws you back to turntable days. Surfer Night coasts through every third Sunday co-hosted by the Surfrider Foundation and featuring surf movies. Miami-kissed Kulcha Latino brings the best of both worlds together under one sunny sky on the fourth Sunday of each month. When there’s a fifth Sunday in the month, revel in it with Skavelution, a salute to Jamaica’s ska culture.

The Wynwood Yard is going old school Cuban with Cortadito’s creative take on folkloric Cuban music followed by PALO lead vocalist Leslie Cartaya’s vibrant rhythms and soulful vocals influenced by everything from nostalgic boleros to modern funk jams. Finish the evening with legendary Miami DJ Le Spam from 11 p.m. till late.
Picadillo | Friday, February 9th | 9 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Hailing from Spain, this band embraces their Cuban roots with their Latin alternative jams fusing vintage Cuban tunes, guaracha and son with rock n’ roll, blues and New Orleans influences. Funk out with Picadillo as they take the Simple Vodka Stage on this fine February evening. Arrive early to enjoy the funky beats courtesy of Miami’s own DJ Le Spam starting at 6 p.m.

SoundOff Miami is back, and they’re bringing your favorite glowing headphones. The Silent Disco Dance Party features three DJs spinning different genres simultaneously and transmitting right into your headphones. As you dance, you can flip through genres and your headphones glow accordingly.
