Rubio’s® Restaurants, the brand known for its uniquely delicious coastal cuisine and popularizing the fish taco, is adding a selection of seasonal dishes to its menu beginning October 18, 2017. Developed by Co-Founder Ralph Rubio and the culinary team, Langostino Lobster can be found in four new mouth-watering dishes, including the Langostino Lobster Burrito and Two Taco Plate, and the decadent Surf and Turf Burrito and Two Taco Plate. The Langostino Lobster line, which has been a favorite amongst guests across the nation for over ten years, will be available for a limited time at Rubio’s locations throughout Florida.
Featuring tender, sustainable Langostino Lobster drizzled with basil butter, Rubio’s Langostino Lobster Burrito includes fresh, handmade guacamole, a citrus rice flavored with lemongrass and lime juice, black beans, romaine lettuce, creamy chipotle sauce and salsa fresca wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. The Langostino Lobster Two Taco Plate includes the buttery Langostino Lobster topped with slices of fresh Hass avocado, crisp cabbage, cilantro and onion, creamy chipotle sauce, and is served on a warm flour tortilla with sea salted chips and “no fried” pinto beans on the side.
Guests looking for a little variety are invited to try the Surf and Turf Burrito and Surf and Turf Two Taco Plate. Pairing Langostino Lobster with all natural grilled steak, the Surf and Turf Burrito includes toasted cheese, avocado slices, citrus rice, salsa fresca and chipotle white sauce wrapped in a flour tortilla. The Surf and Turf Two Taco Plate pairs one Langostino Lobster Taco with one Grilled Gourmet Taco™ with All Natural Steak, which is made with toasted cheese, all natural bacon, fresh avocado and two chile sauces.
