“Wellness Events in Miami on Friday”

Brickell Splash:

Brickell Splash is an all ages Water Park and Bar pop-up in the heart of Brickell. Cool off and ride the exhilarating NEO Splash water slides that range from over 40 Ft high to 300 Ft long to Water obstacle courses. Sometimes you just need to do something that you haven’t done since you were a kid and slide with life. Also, enjoy savory food at any of their food trucks. Food is always an incentive. There is a little bit for everyone. This last weekend I rode the NEO Splash water slides at Jungle Island and it was so much fun. I had no clue what I was in for but I just closed my eyes and went for the ride. If you can do this go for it. You won’t regret it!

Vibes Included – Free Beach Meditation:

Vibes Included is a new way to connect. You gather on the beach at 75th and Collins once a month to engage in meaningful activities with an emphasis on an eyes-closed-conversation led by someone inspirational from the community. I know that sounds spooky, but it’s not. It’s so crucial to do activities where you get to know new people and socialize. They explore life questions and meaningful subjects. It is cool and different and on the beach and you get to know interesting people that if you were on your Netflix cocoon probably you wouldn’t have a chance to meet. And it is free (unlike Netfllix).

Rough week? No energy to move a finger to press on on remote control? Come to Innergy Meditation studio for a 45 minute sound session. You lie on your back. You cover yourself with a blanket (I prefer two). The instructor plays various relaxing instruments. You wonder for the first 10 minutes what are you supposed to do. And then after that you have no recollection. You went to a different planet and after 45 minutes you come back without the stress, anxiety you brought in, and you feel relaxed and smiling. Beware, people won’t recognize the new you.

Wynwood Art Walk happens every second Saturday of the month. It’s crazy. It’s fun. It’s free and open to everyone. Check out the artisan market with the hippest threads and coolest crafts from local Miami artisans, top local DJ’s, and food trucks galore. Take lots of selfies with the murals because the lighting is great. (InstaPro tip: You don’t have to post them all at once. Save some for those days where you don’t have anything to post.)  Don’t miss craft beer, another trend with roots in Wynwood.
