Last Saturday, July 28th, celebrated Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Lenny Hochstein threw a birthday bash brunch for his Real Housewives of Miami star wife Lisa Hochstein at Miami’s Avant Gallery & LaMuse Cafe, the secret restaurant tucked inside. We hear the Midsummer’s Daydream-themed fete was a beautiful people-only affair teeming with art, food (that looked like art), overflowing Whispering Angel Rosé (all day!), and a pop-up B12 injection station nestled in the corner of the gallery, courtesy of Lisa and Dr. Lenny’s Hochstein MedSpa. Lisa’s bestie Carrie Johnson, designer & founder of SAMBA SOL flip flops, and husband Jeff Johnson were among some of the VIP guests to share her special day with her.
Dr. Lenny, the self-proclaimed Boob God™, is an expert in the art of beauty, but when it came to contemporary art he consulted gallery owner Dmitry Prut. Dr. Lenny and stunning birthday girl Lisa were shopping for wall candy for their newly-built Star Island mega-manse, starting with the acquisition of two works by hot street artist BNS which depict the iconic faces of Marilyn Monroe and Kate Moss, but deconstructed on wood and concrete. A spy tells us that the elated couple couldn’t wait to get the art into their home, and had Avant Gallery white-glove deliver the paintings to their waterfront home, along with a few more bottles of celebratory Whispering Angel and leftover cake.
