MIAMI SUPERCAR ROOMS TRANSFORM 3 BLOCKS INTO ‘ROAD ART’

Miami Supercar Rooms – the nation’s first Auto Art Gallery and Gourmet Dining Experience held its third annual Auto Promenade Wynwood on Sunday, December 10th that started at 10:00am. The event was free and open to the public.

Three blocks along NW 1st Court in Wynwood were closed to traffic for South Florida’s third annual showcase of the region’s finest in “Road Art” collections. More than 66 of today’s automotive gems were displayed from across the state, ranging from classic and vintage antiques, to exotic sports and custom-built Supercars. Collectors and car enthusiasts alike brought their prized possessions to line the streets in the heart of Wynwood’s arts and entertainment district. Special guest from legendary design house Paolo Pininfarina were there hosting and awarding Pininfarnia trophies in eight automotive classes.

“Each year gets bigger and better, this year we had participation” says Elo, the Executive Producer and founder of Miami Supercar Rooms. “This will be an amazing family day out encompassing automotive design art and culture” Auto Promenade Wynwood is the city’s first annual Road Art showcase that exhibits the finest America has to offer – allowing owners to display their prized possessions for everyone to see each and every year.”

The Blocks

Each of the three blocks from NW 20th Street to NW 23rd Street in Wynwood was assigned a specific category of vehicle:

An exhibition of Supercars was be on display between 20th Street and 21st Street

An exhibition of Classic Cars was on display between 21st Street and 22nd Street

An exhibition of Art Cars was on display between 22nd Street and 23rd Street

At the end of the day, trophy presentations were awarded to each exhibitor for ‘Best Art Car,’ ‘Best Supercar,’ ‘Best Classic Car,’ ‘Overall Auto Promenade Champion,’ and “Elo’s Choice’ as part of the annual awards ceremony.

Exclusives

This year’s exhibits also included a ‘Fighter Jet’ custom built road car, 1959 Award Winning Concept Car as shown at Motorama, Chicago, 1973 Ferrari Dino reportedly valued at ½ million dollars, ‘Woody Beast’ a vehicle that has been custom built from a 23ft classic wooden boat, a selection of Ferrari’s celebrating Pininfarina’s achievement in automotive design.
