Always setting the trends in commercial interior design, Saladino Design Studios, Inc., one of Miami’s most innovative interior and concept design firms has just completed Midtown 29, a sustainably built luxury high-rise at the colorful crossroads of Wynwood and the sophisticated Design District.

Midtown 29, developed by The Morgan Group, a leader in high-end multifamily development, construction, and property management, together with industry titans Coastal  Construction Group of South Florida Inc. and Stantec, recipient of a 2016 Governor General’s Medal in Architecture engaged brothers Sean and Michael Saladino, principals of Saladino Design Studios, Inc., to create the pool deck, lobby, common areas and model units for their new two towers consisting of 309 unit eco-conscious and inspirational  residential enclave.

“At our first meeting we challenged Sean and Mike to come up with a design that would be unlike any other apartment building in South Florida.  They drew on their hospitality experience and familiarity with the neighborhood to accomplish just that.  We are very pleased with the finished product, and so far the property’s reception has been phenomenal across the board.” Evan Schlecker Regional Vice President,  Morgan Group Inc.

“We are beyond proud for the rare opportunity to integrate our small firm’s captivating  skill set and eclectic designs with such powerhouse developers, architects and construction firms as The Morgan Group, Coastal Construction and Stantec,” shares Sean Saladino.

What makes Midtown 29 an urban oasis is the craftsmanship that went into every detail of the living spaces. All spaces were designed to create the resident’s own experience and not dictated by one overall design aesthetic. Unlike the norm,  Saladino Design Studio sets out to create interactive, individualized and experiential spaces that invite the resident into a world that stands alone, not designed to control but rather to lose control. The sanctuary styled rooftop pool deck takes you on a vacation away from it all.  Private cabana’s, pool mood lighting, plush lounge chairs and a poolside bar were all designed to melt away the everyday; one that induces an experiential, individualized experience not found in Miami’s typical high-rise towers.

Adding to the eclectic designs are green walls that evoke a sense of living in your own backyard haven. The one-of-a-kind, naturally sophisticated retreat is LEED-accredited and  features amenities that include a  masterfully designed and artfully curated lobby oasis, lavish 7th floor rooftop pool with private cabanas, plush lounge seating and poolside bar, an ultra-modern 24/7 fitness center and yoga studio, a pet-friendly dog spa with wash stations, all set in Miami’s urban playground providing spectacular views of Miami and Biscayne Bay.

The library feels more like a nook in a cool bookstore in Vermont, where you can sit, read, meditate or just breath. The finely curated artwork  brings essentials of the common spaces into each resident’s own home and lives. Handcrafted, sophisticated elements and materials with an array of textures, woods and green walls emanates feelings of enjoyment in your own backyard, all in Miami’s urban playground.
